What is Actually Done?

Your computer will be systematically checked for a range of issues & any problems will be rectified- rather like your car when it has a routine service. Items include:

Thorough Virus & general Malware removal.
Rogue/Unwanted program removal.
Windows, drivers & other program updates.
Browser check to remove rogue/unwanted add-ons & reset Home Page if it has been hijacked.
Ensure that an Internet Security product is enabled & working.
Ensure that Windows Updates are being automatically installed.
Check the Hard Drive for possible hardware problems.
Check memory for possible problems (if required).
Fix File System problems & clean up the registry & temporary files.
Review Hardware and suggest any cost-effective upgrades.

During the course of the service, any other problems encountered (such as Windows or program crashes, internet access issues, rogue popups, configuration problems, etc) are fixed. If you mention any specific problems these will be investigated and resolved.
